Guarantee & accreditations

Six years, in writing. Three bodies behind it.

Most paving is bought on a promise. Ours comes with paperwork. Every piece of hard landscaping we lay is covered by a six-year workmanship guarantee — and the company is independently vetted by three separate organisations before you ever have to take our word for it.

Dorking Paving and Landscapes Ltd is a VAT-registered limited company — Company No 8344413, VAT 168 5259 72 — with 16 years' experience in the trade. These are facts you can check, not claims you have to trust.

The six-year guarantee

Exactly what's covered.

If any hard landscaping we install fails within six years because of our workmanship, we'll come back and put it right. Clear and itemised, so there's no small print to be caught out by. This sits on top of your statutory rights, not instead of them.

What we cover

  • Patios, terraces and paved areas — the base, edgings, falls and the laid surface.
  • Driveways in block paving, natural setts or resin, and their structural sub-base.
  • Retaining and feature walls, brickwork, steps and paths that we have built.
  • Drainage, channels and levels installed as part of the hard landscaping.

What it doesn't cover

  • Fair wear and tear, staining, or lack of routine cleaning and maintenance.
  • Damage from third parties, ground movement outside our works, or heavy vehicles beyond the design use.
  • Materials or products supplied and fitted by others, or plants and turf beyond their establishment period.
  • Alterations or repairs to our work carried out by someone else.

Why a guarantee, not just a rating

A five-star review tells you a past customer was happy. A written six-year guarantee tells you what happens if you're not — and it's only sensible to offer when the base underneath is built to last.
